Obama deceiving America on sequester. If ever there was a reason that American voters made a huge blunder electing Barack Obama as president, the proof is this past two weeks when President Obama has purposely deceived the country and committed possible impeachable offenses. Last week, ICE Agents released hundreds of detained illegal immigrants in Arizona. Their reason was lack of funding from the sequester. Then Obama’s economic advisor, Gene Sperling, threatened Washington Post editor, Bob Woodward, the same Bob Woodward of Watergate fame. Sperling wrote Woodward in an e-mail saying he would regret reporting that Obama originated the sequester.
The illegal immigrants had no business being released. The sequester didn’t take effect until March 1 and Homeland Security had sufficient funding. So Obama pulls a dastardly power ploy to scare the public. Mr. Woodward doesn’t scare easily and has full access to the media to tell his story. Both stunts the administration pulled are reason enough that Obama has no business being president let alone getting reelected.
Obama wants to raise taxes again. He got his tax increase. The agreement of the sequester was to limit government spending which Obama is now reneging especially when the sequester was his recommendation.
If the budget needed to be corrected as Obama professes, a sincere leader such as a Mitt Romney would definitely not posture in front of the camera with police officers and children as props with phony gut-wrenching tales of woe. He would role up his sleeves up and get to work and force the Senate to pass a budget, which they haven’t done in four years.
A President Romney certainly wouldn’t play golf with Tiger Woods in the midst of the budget negotiations. He would be working harder than anyone else to find a solution. Though comparing Romney’s work ethic to Barack Obama is like comparing Secretariat to an aging nag. Romney wouldn’t jeopardize national security with alleged Defense cuts. He would get the job done.
Unfortunately, our media crazed celebrity world reelected Obama. He is the darling of the entertainment networks but abandons his constitutional duties.
