The Constitution is yet again under attack by Obama and the Democrats and we again have John Boehner (R-OH) in the role of "fearless leader".
Joining the list with the NDAA and Obama and the HHS's attack on religious liberty, etc., is a proposed Constitutional amendment to repeal the 22nd Amendment, which limits the president to 2 terms in office or a total of 10 years.
Rep. Jose Serrano (D-NY) wasted no time after assuming office on January 3 by introducing HJ Res 15 on January 4.
The bill is titled, "Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President."
The only president to have served more than 2 terms was FDR, who wished to become a "benevolent dictator" as was stated by his cousin/wife Eleanor. He was also a great admirer of communist dictator Joseph Stalin, who he affectionately referred to as "Uncle Joe."
FDR attempted to make this come true through means such as increasing the number of justices on the Supreme Court so he could appoint enough "yes men" to make the court a "rubber stamp" for his agenda. The court had previously overturned much of his socialist enactions.
Much as FDR allowed the massacre of tens of thousands of Poles to appease Stalin, it appears Obama is willing to let Israel fall to appease the radical muslims in the Middle East.
Who do we have to stop him? Nobody.
The current Republican leadership is the equivalent of a wet washcloth.
The ineffective and often teary-eyed John Boehner has again been elected Speaker of the House, Friday, and the equally useless Mitch McConnell is again the Senate Minority Leader.
These 2 men have done more to damage and squelch the Constitutional Conservative movement than any Democrat has, or even could. They work to destroy the very movement that put them in power and have proven they do not have the backbone to stand up to the tyrannical Obama/Reid regime.
This should increase our resolve to take over the Republican Party and rid it of the mush of these men, and all the Bush people, especially Karl Rove.
It has become increasingly clear Americans are tired of this mush as the Presidential Election showed. Obama should have lost in a landslide, but the mush worked to destroy all viable candidates to ensure Mitt Romney would get the nomination because he fits into their "compassionate conservative" mold.
This being the case, Conservatives stayed home and others who couldn't see the big picture protest voted for candidates that didn't stand a chance, thus sealing Obama's victory.
Use this as a call to action. Spread the word and use the following contact information to hold their feet to the fire. We need to flood their phone lines and fill their mail boxes daily to get the message across or we will lurch further into the abyss.
