Obama and the rape of Catholicism

Anyone who continues to deny that socialism is the national religion of the United States today is beyond all hope, except for the skewed version championed by Barack Obama during his campaign for America's political and cultural plunder in 2008.  And liberals, who mistakenly market the constitutional non-concept of "separation of Church and State", must now decide that there is indeed no such language in the Constitution, or that their beloved president is now breaking all those purported rules for which they have accused spiritualists for so long.

If you're a liberal and a Catholic (paradoxical enough as it is), what a sudden and real quandary St. Obama has put you in.  Now you really do have to choose which God you will serve.

Yes, the presidential proclamation has gone viral, so to speak, declaring to all followers of the centuries old church that it's "game on".   Catholicism must get its centuries old doctrine in line with force-fed obamacare or face punishment.  If that doesn't sound like something from Europe's dark ages, nothing does.  (Not that liberals know much about history - European or otherwise).

If any conservative leader had attacked the male gay community in such a way during the killing AIDS epidemic in our lifetime, he would have been publicly rebuked and discredited.  Oh, wait, that really is what happened, to the preposterous degree that Surgeon General C. Everett Koop did the politically correct or stupid thing by identifying AIDS as an indiscriminant killer whereby no one is safe - then introduced the proper curriculum for fighting the disease, correct condom use taught to schoolchildren in the third grade

What Dr. Koop actually succeeded in doing was to help vaccinate the American liberal in acquiring an impenetrable immunity to the decadent, forgiving policies of an America way off course.

In Communist China, Catholicism has evolved into a religion in which the Chinese government, and not Rome, chooses that church's leaders (referred to there as patriotic bishops).  Here in the freedom loving USA, we can hardly contrast that with a president who, by absolute partisanship, railroads an unpopular national health care program and then invalidates a church whose doctrine runs counter, for centuries, to the new legislation.

Still, Obama's aides were concerned about coming across as hostile to religious groups "in an election year".  In an election year?  Now there's true moral conviction.  Boy messenger Jay Carney came out in his usual trembling presence to make everybody feel good about the whole thing, saying "the president is committed to making sure that all women have access to these important preventative services."  (It makes one wonder how America ever got by prior to this generation's grand intentions).

Boy Carney iced the cake nicely by noting the 1-year grace period that the rule gives religious affiliates for getting in line with the law.  That is not the grace that should be sought.

Barack Obama has taken up arms against God Himself.  That is no surprise for a man who garnered and now demands the adulation of his flock, including an awed media.  News reports today said that the White House promised to explore ways to make the mandate more palatable to the catholic religion.  Noble enough, except that in the following sentence administration officials insisted, however, that the president would not back down from his stance.  That is the typical obamian search for common ground we have all come to know since his inauguration.

The fight card shows a self-promoting and narcissistic government head versus an unwavering and supreme God.  As demonstrated in every similar Old Testament conflict, anyone should know the result of this match-up.  Obama is in way over his head and cannot hide from or blame another for his stand (not that it would matter).  He has villainized himself to biblical proportions and had better get his act together fast.  To borrow from a New Testament passage, he knows not what he is doing.

Should he stay this unfortunate course, Catholics (and any Christian believers for that matter) caught in this unprecedented dilemma had better choose wisely by rallying behind their Creator, rather than finding some soft grey area and a hollow justification in siding with a self-deified lord holding court in the Oval Office.
