Obama is beginning to sound and look allot more similar to Bush as he finally responds to the citizen aborted terrorist attack Christmas Day. His statement to the press vowing, “We will continue to use every element of our national power to disrupt, to dismantle, and defeat the violent extremists who threaten us,” sounds disturbingly like the similar rhetoric used by Bush directly after 9-11. Sadly, much of what we are getting is watered down as this administration uses much better publicity tactics.
I am wondering how soon the left will see that this president is really no different and will end up marching in the streets in a similar fashion to what occurred during Bush’s reign as president. After all, to date this president has spent more, sent more troops, and caused more political problems than both of the former presidents including Clinton’s era. The worse part is he still has a large percentage of the nation’s support, which just goes to show that ignorance may in fact be rising reflecting the pathetic results of Modern American public schooling efforts.
So Mr. President, when are you going to really keep your promises, when are you going to become “transparent?” When are you going to help the schools, versus taking funding away and promoting dead end terrible programs like “no child left behind etc?” When are you going to keep your promise regarding the war, instead of revving it up as you have been doing? When are you going to show us that by spending trillions of money we do not have and leading us down the road to bankruptcy you are in fact allowing us a way out? When are you going to stop trying to take away the rights of the people like the right to defend ourselves when as everyone can clearly see citizens who defend themselves stay alive?
We the people are waiting, and we are upset, your robot followers may not care but we do.

Thanks for the article Jesse. Obama is still on the campaign trail. Or, is he campaigning for a higher office? Obama needs to wake up out of his dream world, realize he is the President, and make the hard decisions that are required as a leader. He has yet to declare that we are at war against radical Islam, and stop trying to deal with it as if this were a police action. How much information are you going to garner on the enemy and there plans to attack the American people if you offer them a public defender when you capture them in combat or commiting a terrorist action against the people? (For the dim witted liberals)- 'None'.
It would have been nice if he came out with a statement sooner.
Trillions of dollars toward war and yet there are great needs unmet here at home.
