As Democrat leaders huddle behind closed doors to work out their final version of Obamacare legislation, the Republican National Committee goes after the broken promises of transparency made by Harry Reid and Barack Obama:
Presidential candidate Obama promised over and over, and over, and over, and over, again not to negotiate health care reform behind closed doors, to bring all parties together and to broadcast those negotiations on C-SPAN:
- He said it at Google --November 14, 2007
- He said it at the CNN Democrat Presidential Debate -- January 31, 2008
- He said it during an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle -- January 17, 2008 [the same interview during which Obama said his cap and trade plan would bankrupt anyone who builds a coal-powered plant and electricity rates will skyrocket.]
- He said it at an Ohio Town Hall -- March 2008
- He said it during an interview with the St. Petersburg Times -- May 2008
It is truly unfortunate that President Obama did not keep those promises, but instead, chose to meet privately with healthcare executives, cut a deal with drug firms in secret, and outsourced the drafting of the Obamacare legislation to the highly partisan, Democrat-controlled Congress.

Didn't Dick Cheney established a secret "Energy Task Force," formally known as the National Energy Policy Development Group for the purpose of making recommendations to President Bush on energy policy? But you wont report that........Hypocrite
Notice how the Left never own up to their own malfeasances? They always refer back to Bush. What an underhanded, immoral, lot they are. Man up, Libbies, and fix your own problems - which are quickly adding up. Obama is the hypocrite. Say one thing, do another. Isn't that called . . . lying?
TaxExemptGod, besides your being blasphemous, has ObaMao released the names of the health care industry leaders he sat in private with to form his takeover of the health care industry?
NO!
But, who WOULD have been a better choice to discuss energy than people in the field? Should he have spoken to, say, dentists?

So the Bush administration did nothing bad?
But, who WOULD have been a better choice to discuss Health Care than people in the field? Should he have spoken to, say, Chefs?
Maybe some Windex would help with the transparency issue -- the windows seem to be a little cloudy and nothing else seems to be working to clear things up!
TaxExemptGod says: So the Bush administration did nothing bad?
Gotta love these totally fu cked up people! Where in the hell did you come up with that one? Did anyone type that? Did anyone imply that?
NEWS for you, BUSH IS NOT PRESIDENT! Did you miss that?
MANY on the right thought Bush, BOTH of them screwed up royally on many things. And we were all over him for it.
But HE IS NOT PRESIDENT! Get the fu ck over it!
RE:Sick F**ks
So, if someone commits a crime, like say Rapes your dog? Do you get over it cause he moved on to the next dog .Or do you hold him responsible till the end? The way it looks like your ashamed and want to move on.. Time for your dog to take that long hot shower, and face that fact
Got something to say?
