Obama admin protecting vaccine drug companies

Parents of one child wanting to suit the drug company are presenting their case of childhood vaccine injury in the Supreme Court today.

Serious health problems from childhood vaccines have occurred but AP reports that studies show no link.

Based on evidence of childhood vaccine causing autism, in November, the US government paid compensation to one family after parents' claimed that childhood vaccines caused their daughter's autism.

that Dr Jon Poling who practiced in Athens, Georgia, and his wife, Terry, a registered nurse and former trial attorney, presented their case of eight long years of heartbreak after their toddler, Hannah was vaccinated.

Government officials conceded that childhood vaccines contributed to Hannah's autism but health officials maintained "that there is no proof that they cause autism directly and that the government decision did not support the parents' claim.

According to the Medical News Today report, Director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr Julie Gerberding said, "The government has made absolutely no statement indicating that vaccines are a cause of autism."

Whether or not to continue protecting vaccine drug companies is the issue that the Supreme Court will decide.

"The Poling's lawyer said their case had been consolidated with other claims, and the government agreed to settle just before an expert testimony was to be filed. He said the family was willing to make their case public, but the court had ruled it should stay secret."
