Quarterback Terrelle Pryor of the Oakland Raiders suffered a concussion during the Monday Night Football match against the Denver Broncos. The cause of the injury came from a helmet to helmet hit from Broncos’ linebacker Wesley Woodyard.
As reported on Tuesday, the injury that Pryor sustained came late in the fourth quarter. The status of Terrelle Pryor’s concussion puts the quarterback in doubt to play for Sunday’s match against the Washington Redskins.
Pryor will have to go through the injury protocol in order to be cleared. He was not allowed to address the press after the game, NFL rules, but he did seem to be fine in the locker room as reported in the article.
Pryor tweeted after the game: “Sorry about the loss RaiderNation. I don't remember much! Good hit by whoever it was. I heard our team fought well .. We will be back!”
He also added that he felt great and was thankful for the fans’ concern. He ended his tweet session with a “Go Raiders!”
The Oakland Raiders host the Washington Redskins on Sunday who have been struggling with RGIII at helm. The Redskins have not won a game yet. They are 0-3 so far.
