For the die hard Raider fans football season is back.
With the preseason about to take over relationships are definitely going to be put to the test. If you want to use this opportunity to your advantage you might want to make this an opportunity for date night.
On Friday August 8, 2014 the Oakland Raiders will play against the Minnesota Vikings in Minnesota. This is going to be the game that is going to show Raider fans just what the team is working with for the upcoming 2014-2015 football season. Men are going to be on the couch or in their Man Caves (if they are lucky enough to have one) with their flat screens tuned into the game. Ladies if you are a football fan then this could be an opportunity for you to partake in the festivities and get invited into the cave. There are a few things you can do to make the first game of the season fun and memorable.

Since the game will be televised at 5PM this may be a perfect opportunity to have dinner while you watch the game. You can not go wrong with some food favorites like chicken wings, dip and chips with carrot and celery sticks, your beverage of choice, pasta salad, potato salad, macaroni salad and add in a dessert or two to complete your meal. Depending on how the two of you feel you can extend and invite to some of your friends and family to come over and watch the game with you.
If the two of you feel like this is an evening you want to enjoy together forget the invitations and curl up on the couch and make it a night for two. This is definitely a way to make it personal. Who knows you could bypass half time and make you own version of a touchdown.
In the end watching the game together can turn out to be more than just watching the game together. This could be an opportunity for couples to spend some quality time together doing something that the both of you can truly enjoy. Just think if the Raiders win the game there could definitely be a reason the celebrate after the game is over as well.
For the ladies who have no interest in watching the game you might want to rethink your strategy because you could really be missing out on more than just a game.
