Oakland native Favianna Rodriguez subject of Migration is Beautiful

Oakland native, artist and activist Favianna Rodriguez is the subject of “Migration is Beautiful,” the latest episode in Voice of Art, a documentary series that upends ignorance surrounding immigration issues.

“Migration is Beautiful,” now available on YouTube (Part I, Part II, Part III), follows artists, designers and performers who use their craft to work for migrant justice in the United States.

The special also features actor Rosario Dawson and Pulitzer Prize Winning author Jose Antonio Vargas.
