Oakland library offering classes on best ways to find a job this March

Although the job market is showing signs of improvement, there are still many locals of the Bay Area who are unemployed or underemployed. Many have done their due diligence searching for jobs and are still left frustrated and stuck.

Despite the difficulties, there’s no reason to give up. This March, the Oakland Public Library is offering a free program, “Job On! Secrets to Job Search Success” to help those seeking out a career get some helpful information and best practice tips that will hopefully land them in a suitable profession.

Taught by one of the best, Nancy Rhoda, a teacher with 35 years of working in a variety of careers will offer attendees of the “Job On! Secrets to Job Search Success” a host of valuable information.

The program consists of four classes that focus on creating sound job search skills, networking and what companies are looking for in a job candidate.
