A member of the school’s PGA of Canada instruction team will lead chipping and putting seminars on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. and again on Jan. 23 at 11 a.m.
The basics of proper eye and body positioning during the putting stroke will be covered extensively and attendees will be informed about the importance of striking down on the ball while chipping in order to pinch the ball since pinching creates more spin.
The result is players can be more aggressive with their chip shots while maintaining greater control.
The OAC’s Winter Golf School Seminar Series is scheduled to have several more gatherings throughout the offseason that will cover all aspects of the game.
