O.J. Simpson is currently serving a 33-year prison sentence for his part in a sports memorabilia armed robbery and kidnapping. On January 3, the Huffington Post reported that Simpson is appealing to the White House for clemency and would like an early release.

Simpson has been incarcerated since 2008. In that time he has repeatedly and unsuccessfully attempted to gain early release. He has asked for a retrial and was denied in 2013.

Reports of O.J. Simpson's health decline have been prevalent in the news. The once slim and physically fit athlete is now overweight and he has aged beyond his 66-years. Simpson also has reportedly been diagnosed as diabetic since living behind bars.

According to the newest reports, Simpson is undergoing tests to determine if he does in fact have brain cancer. Due to this most recent crisis, O.J. Simpson is appealing to Barack Obama himself in a desperate bid to be released for treatment.

Do you think Simpson has brain cancer? If so, should he be allowed freedom in order to seek treatment or should he continue to serve time for the crimes in which he was found guilty?
