Once again, famed football player and infamous criminal O.J. Simpson is making the news with another crime, according to a Friday report via UPI.
Not much of a crime at all, compared to the incidents Simpson has been tied to in the past two decades including the death of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman 19 years ago, but nonetheless, a crime. Simpson was allegedly caught stealing more than a dozen cookies from the cafeteria in the Nevada prison where he is currently serving a 33-year sentence for armed robbery.
As the story goes, Simpson returned to his cell and a guard believed he was hiding something under his prison garb. Upon inspection, the guard found one cookie after another and threw them on the floor.
Reports say that Simpson has been told by his doctors that he needs to cut back on such snack foods because he is now overweight and suffers from diabetes.
Rather than suffering any stiff penitentiary discipline, he was let off with a warning.
Again, this story is “alleged” as at least one news source is claiming the incident really didn’t happen.
