O. B. Caudle has been with Pickett County football program since it's inception back in 2007.

The Bobcat program played a junior varsity schedule in both 2007 and 2008 when Caudle's brother in law Matt Walker was the school's first head coach.

When Walker stepped away from the program in 2009, Caudle took over the program.

After three years and a 1-29 record, Caudle has stepped down as head coach.

Caudle is venturing into his own business as he is opening a boat dealership in nearby Christian County, Kentucky.

Christian County high school just happens to be the only team that the Bobcats defeated in Caudle's tenure which came last season.

The Bobcats defeated Christian County 17-15 in week zero on their way to finishing 1-9 on the year.

"I've had a good run here at Pickett County and the kids and the community have been great, but I'm really excited about the prospects of owning my own business," Caudle said.

Through the first five varsity seasons, Pickett County has a 2-48 record.

Currently there are open jobs at Pickett County, Hickman County, Hixson, Whitwell, Middle Tennessee Christian, Clay County, Bolivar, Fairley, Clarksville Northwest, Ezell Harding, Red Bank, Clarksville, Nashville Overton, Marion County, Chattanooga Central, Jackson Christian and Knoxville Central as schools currently looking for a head coach.
