With a full day of exhibits, educational seminars and networking, the Ninth Annual New York Business Expo & Conference (NYXPO) is expected to draw 10,000 attendees to the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in Manhattan. Today, September 4, Event Management announced in a press release that the NYXPO will take place on October 17 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., drawing hundreds of exhibitors and offering over 40 educational seminars.
The seminars, geared toward business owners and entrepreneurs, will cover topics including sales strategies, business growth and development, marketing and advertising, startups and entrepreneurship, technology and time management. NYXPO will also offer the Time Warner Cable Business Class-sponsored Cyber Cafe and Social Media Lab. At the Cafe, attendees can relax, network and check their email at an internet-ready computer, while the Progressive Computing-powered Lab will host 20-minute demonstrations and Q&A sessions with social media experts.
For attendees seeking more from the experience, NYXPO is offering upgraded tickets that include admission to the #SMAC Summit 2013, part of its partnership with Social, Mobile, Analytics & Content which features Teachers NOT Speakers™, a digital communications learning environment for small business owners, media enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. These sessions emphasize facts, data and methods.
Last year, 60 percent of attendees were business owners, and organizers expect the number to be higher this year, opening the doors for more partnerships between complementary business owners. Admission to the New York Business Expo & Conference is free of charge with pre-registration. For more information or to pre-register, visit http://www.newyorkbusinessexpo.com.
