This week (May 30) was a busy one for Aloft Hotels and NYLON Magazine. It included a glamorous special event for this Examiner to attend and party it up at. NYLON and Aloft collaborated to celebrate the magazine’s Music Issue and officially kick off the fifth annual Project Aloft Star competition, with live performances by June/July cover artist HAIM, DENITIA AND SENE, and last year’s winning artist, MY BODY. Celebrities and VIP guests enjoyed drinks over live sets by the featured artists.

Stars turning out to support the night included Joe Jonas, Chord Overstreet, Victoria Justice, Drake Bell, Crystal Reed, Renee Olstead, Jonathan Keltz, Josh Henderson and Ryan Cabrera. Pierson Fode, Marc Luzzatto (CEO of NYLON Magazine), Aloft's Bridget Higgins, NYLON magazine Associate Publisher Karim Abay, Aloft's Ashley Hinchman, musicians Danielle Haim, Este Haim and Alana Haim of HAIM. It is always exciting to be in the company of such brilliant luminaries!
