Examiner.com also covered the NYILFF Premiere of 'White Knight' at Clearview Cinemas Chelsea. The film was written and directed by Jesse Baget and it was produced by Hector Jimenez, who also stars in the film. We also spoke with Hector's co-star Olga Segura who looked fabulous on the red carpet. 'White Knight' is a dark comedy about a KKK member, Leroy Lowe (played by Tom Sizemore) a grand dragon of the Texas Ku Klux Klan, who confronts everything he’s been taught to hate when he’s sentenced to three years of hard labor on a prison work farm. Anti-immigrant sentiment in Director Jesse Baget's home state of Arizona is what inspired the story. Jesse tells us that he learned screenplay writing from his mother. Baget also finished a film called "Breathless" with Val Kilmer, which is a dark comedy thriller. Check out our interview with Jesse Baget, Olga Segura, Hector Jimenez to the left.
'White Knight' will be released in February 2012.
