Magic City Memoirs is the story of three Miami private high school friends Mikey, Angel and Stok, who revel in their world of privilege and loose parental oversight, living large in the hip-hop lifestyle of parties, fast cars, fast boats and easy sex. But life in Miami can get a little too fast, especially if you’re young, and when the boys face a night of trouble that brings them face-to-face with reality, their friendship – and their lives – will hang in the balance. Magic City Memoirs captures the texture and energy of this pulse-pounding tropical paradise – and shows us what lurks beneath the sheen. The film stars Michael Cardelle as Angel Suarez, Jr., Andres Dominguez as Stok, Dominik Garcia-Lorido (Andy Garcia's daughter) as Veronica Suarez, Natalie Martinez as Mari, Julio Mechoso as Alejandro Acosta, Nestor Serrano as Angel Suarez, Sr. and JR Villarreal as Mikey Acosta. The cast is rounded out by Jordi Vilasuso as Eric, Seth D. Miller as Jazz and Adam Senn as Charles. The Director of Photography is Gustavo Penna.
