A New York City tourist from Australia was raped shortly after leaving the trendy nightclub, Lavo, WABC-TV reported Tuesday. WABC reports that the rape victim's story was "fuzzy" because she was drunk and was unable to provide police with more details on the crime, including the exact location where it took place.

The rape victim was just 20 years old. New York City Police say she had left the Lavo, argued with a cab driver, and was raped shortly after exiting the taxi.
The incident happened just after 3:30 a.m. on Sunday in Midtown Manhattan. Police say the woman was grabbed and dragged into an alley.
The New York Post reports that the rape victim could not remember the exact location of the assault but again, police say this may have been because the victim was intoxicated. She was only certain that it happened near the Lavo restaurant and nightclub. The Lavo is one of New York City’s best-known nightclubs, frequented by many A-List Hollywood stars.
Suspect description
The suspect is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, about 190 pounds, and a height of about about 6-foot-2.
Victim’s condition
The victim was treated from the hospital and no suspects are in custody.
