Someone has to decide who wins at any film festival. This year is no exception, and the following are but a few of the jurors, categories and link with more detailed information for the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City being held from April 22 - May 3. World Narrative Feature Competition Jurors:
A jury of internationally acclaimed actors and filmmakers convenes to award the Founders Award for Best Narrative Feature, Best New Narrative Filmmaker, and Best Actor and Actress in a Narrative Feature prizes. Learn more about the jury, which includes Bradley Cooper, Richard Fischoff, Todd Haynes, Meg Ryan, and Uma Thurman.
Uma Thurman has proven herself to be one of the most versatile young actresses by playing a variety of compelling characters. She received international attention in Terry Gilliam’s The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and critical acclaim for her role in Dangerous Liaisons. In 1996, Thurman received an Academy Award® nomination for Quentin Tarantino’s critically lauded Pulp Fiction.

Debra Messing is best known for her role on NBC's Emmy Award-winning comedy series Will & Grace. Messing won an Emmy, shared a Screen Actors Guild Award for best ensemble, and earned nominations for seven Golden Globes, seven Screen Actors Guild Awards, and five additional Emmys. On the big screen, Messing was recently seen in Nothing Like the Holidays and The Women.
Mary-Kate Olsen
