NYC Restaurant Week 2014 debuts this week

Restaurant Week 2014 is a huge event where participating restaurants serve a three course meal at a fraction of a cost to patrons as a normal cost. It is a good time to eat some of the finer foods of New York City without paying the not so fine cost.

Like any other Restaurant Week in New York City, the choices are diverse as there are over three hundred restaurants participating. The selections are endless from most cuisines of the world, American food, or specialty restaurants such as steakhouses or seafood restaurants. All restaurants will serve three courses at lunch or dinner or even both. The lunch prices will be twenty five dollars and the dinner prices will be around thirty eight dollars. Although most of the restaurants participating in Restaurant Week are located in Manhattan, there are two located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, The Greenhouse Cafe and Tanoreen. Surprisingly, however, there is only one Italian restaurant participating in Little Italy, and that is Grotta Azzurra Restaurant. The rest of the Italian restaurants are scattered throughout the rest of Manhattan. While there are no Chinese restaurants participating in Chinatown, there are seven Chinese restaurants on the list in the other parts of Manhattan.

Restaurant Week 2014 began on July 21, 2014 but it will go until August 15, 2014. There is plenty of time to eat plenty of delicious food. For a complete list of participating restaurants, click here.
