Doggies, tiaras, gowns, and strollers all headed way up town in New York City for the 2nd Annual Doggies and Tiaras pageant at Tette Club. Part fashion show, part contest, and all fabulous fun -- 14 pups paraded down the stage with hopes of being crowned the winner. Yes, there were some bitches on this catwalk. (That's female dogs in case you did not know!) Event organizers Roberto Negrin and Bobbi Mitchell ran a fun and fast-paced event with raffles, a silent auction, wine tastings, hors d'oeuvres, goody bags, and of course, Fido fashion! We left the event wanting to see more on the runway! A true sign of a successful event!
Dogs were judged in active wear, talent, and glamour categories. In the end, an adorable black Pug named Rose took home top prize! Gia Marie, Brooklyn Pom and her mom Victoria gave their final walk and wave and handed over the crown. The event raised funds for Inky Blue Sea Animal Rescue.
