'NY Ink' renewed for season 2

NY Ink, which recently wrapped up its first season on TLC, channel 52 in Queens, Thursdays at 10PM, follows Ami James as he opens up a new shop in the city, much like he did with Miami Ink. He brought in a whole new crew, and of course, there was plenty of drama in the shop while the tattoo artists inked some customers.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NY Ink has been renewed for a second season, which will begin airing in December 2011. The second season will be made up of 10 episodes, each one hour just like the first. It's soon going to be time to see what's next for the Wooster Street Social Club. Throughout the first season, finances were a major issue for the shop, and they're going to have to continue to pay bills. However, will Ami have to figure out how to pay those bills with a new crew when season 2 begins?

The first season ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, with Chris no longer with the shop—tensions finally got too high and he quit/Ami fired him—but he was also trying to recruit the other artists to join him elsewhere. He offered Billy a job, Jessica called Chris about an apprenticeship, and Ami gave Corey a call. Meanwhile, the season finale also revealed that Megan and Chris have gotten together like many suspected, and the final moments showed that many had decisions to make. Tommy had decided to stay in New York to help Ami out with the shop instead of going back to the West Coast, while Tim had said that he was going to be back after some conventions in California. It looks like they could be back, but who else will still be around when NY Ink season 2 picks up?
