NWA Southern All-Star Wrestling management announced on Friday night that the NWA World Champion, Satoshi Kojima, would be headed to the SAW Mill.

Mike Sircy made the announcement at NWA SAW that he had received confirmation that Kojima will be headed to Nashville. Satoshi Kojima, who won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship from former champion Rob Conway in January 2014, will be defending his title on Friday, May 30, 2014. He is also one-half of the NWA World Tag Team champions with Hiroyoshi Tenzan. Kojima and Tenzan defeated the Iron Godz (Rob Conway and Jax Dane) at New Japan’s Pro Wrestling’s Invasion Attack on April 6, 2014.

As of press time, the opponent for Satoshi Kojima has not been announced. However, NWA SAW management has released that former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Rob Conway and his partner, former NWA World Tag Team Champion Jax Dane, will also be in the SAW Mill in Millersville, TN.

“We are excited and honored to be able to have the World Heavyweight Champion of the NWA,” said NWA SAW management Tim Thomason, “but it is extra special being able to have Kojima, a true New Japan legend, here at SAW.” This is the second announced visit for Kojima, but his first title defense on American soil.

Kojima joined the ranks of some of the top wrestlers in the world when he gained the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Wrestlers like Ric Flair, Harley Race, Terry Funk, Lou Thesz, Gene Kiniski, Dory Funk, A. J. Styles, Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Dusty Rhodes and many more!

NWA Southern All-Star Wrestling is located at 1214B Louisville Highway in Millersville, Tennessee. Doors open on Friday nights at 7:00 p.m. with bell time at 8:00 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $10.
