NWA Southern All-Star Wrestling has announced that they will be off on July 4.

“With Independence day falling on a Friday this year, NWA SAW decided to take the week off and allow the staff to spend the day with their families”, said NWA SAW management on Tuesday. “We will be returning to the newly named TJ’s SAW Mill on Friday, July 11, 2014, with wrestling action!”

The company just came off of two of the hardest nights of the company’s history. Having lost TJ Weatherby, NWA SAW’s longtime owner, the Weatherby family and management of NWA SAW have decided to keep the doors open in Millersville, TN.

“TJ would have wanted us to keep going,” Tim Thomason, one of NWA SAW’s management, said, “we want to keep his memory and his dream alive every Friday night with wrestling action at TJ’s SAW Mill. We will keep that promise and make a promise to the fans each and every Friday night that there will be the best wrestling action around in that ring!”

NWA Southern All-Star Wrestling also announced earlier this week on their website and on Twitter, that the three DVD set of the NWA SAW Collision Course and the two tribute to TJ DVDs are available online at www.nwasaw.com. The DVDs are available for $15.

The return on July 11th, will be nothing short of amazing. Already announced, the newly crowned NWA Southern Tag Team Champions, Weatherby Ink, Cody and Kevin Weatherby, will be defending their titles against Brewster’s mystery team. Also, the Wild Eyed Southern Boy Tracy Smothers will be in action. Plus Jeremiah Plunkett will defend the NWA Television Championship. Arrick “The Dragon” Andrews will defend the NWA Southern Heavyweight Championship and much more!
