NWA promoter suffers heart attack

NWA Top Rope promoter Mike Sircy, long a staple in the Tennessee wrestling scene suffered a massive heart attack on Wednesday.

According to sources close to Sircy he is in stable condition at a Nashville hospital in the critical care unit. Sircy is resting comfortably and undergoing testing to determine the cause and severity of the heart attack as well as determine what treatment will be required.

Sircy is a former board member of Pro Wrestling Organization, LLC who was sued by current NWA President and CEO R. Bruce Tharpe in a hostile takeover of the NWA. Sircy was later released from the lawsuit and began to operate under the auspices of the International Wrestling Organization, LLC as NWA Top Rope.
