NWA North American Title match headlines Cypress event this Friday

NWA Houston is ready to kick off their 2013 campaign, and will do so this Friday night in Cypress, Texas. Their "Next Level" event has shaped up to be a fantastic card, and will be headlined by four championship matches.

Carson will defend his NWA North American Championship against former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, "The Modern Day Hero" Kevin Douglas. Word is going around that Douglas has been training extra hard for this match, while Carson has been defending the title against every challenger put in front of him. This will be a highlight match between two of the most talented superstars on the NWA Houston roster.

The "Vanilla Godzilla " Jax Dane, puts the NWA Lone Star Heavyweight Title on the line as he faces "Addictive and Expensive" Byron Wilcott. This will be nothing short of hard-hitting, as both Dane and Wilcott are among the most aggressive and brutal athletes in the state of Texas.

Fresh off becoming NWA Lone Star Junior Heavyweight Champion last month, "One Man" Mike Dell returns to Cypress and will put the gold on the line against Ricky Starks. This is a golden opportunity for Starks to pull off a monumental upset, but he'll have to bring everything he's got to dethrone NWA Houston's resident Triple Crown Champion.

The ladies of NWA Houston return as an old rivalry will flare up once again. NWA Lone Star Women's Champion Barbi Hayden will be in action, as she defends the title against Angel Blue. Angel has been away from Cypress for quite a while now, and will make her return this Friday night.

For the first time ever, "Killer" Brent McKenzie will step into the ring to face off against Ray Rowe. This bitter feud has escalated for several months, and will finally erupt at the Cypress VFW at "Next Level." Both men have revenge on their minds for a number of reasons, so you can expect this match to get vicious very early.

The masked superstar known only as Lazarus will be back in action this week, as he looks to make "The Hebrew Phenom" David Stahr his third victim. In recent months, Lazarus has made very quick work of rookie Paul Titan and the very popular Hambone, and has been unstoppable. Stahr will need to be extremely focused if he wants to avoid the same face the others have faced.

Also appearing this Friday night will be former NWA Lone Star Heavyweight Champion "The Name That Entertains" Jasper Davis, Jack Jameson, David "Super" Duperon" and Rudy Russo.

Tickets for the event are available now by clicking HERE for an advance special. The prices listed on that link will be good until Thursday night at midnight. Then on Friday, tickets will be available at the door. Adult tickets will be $15 and kids 12 and under get in for just $8.

The Cypress VFW is located at 21902 Highway 290 (Northwest Freeway) between Huffmeister and Telge Road). Bell time is set for 7:30 PM, so make sure you're there early to get your seat for "Next Level."
