NVS Salon and Spa in Harford County was once again recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as one of the Top 100 Small Businesses in America for 2014. The Blue Ribbon Award, earned for NVS Salon’s dedication to the principles of free enterprise and their contributions to restoring jobs and prosperity, is one of many awards that the Maryland-based, minority-owned small business has recently won.
“As the business community has worked hard to do its part in moving the country forward economically, small businesses such as NVS Salon have continued to be the driving force responsible for much of our progress,” U.S. Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue said. “Our Blue Ribbon Award winners are the best of the best—growing and succeeding despite significant challenges.”
The Blue Ribbon Small Business Awards is a program that recognizes companies for their dedication to the principles of free enterprise and contributions to restoring jobs and supporting economic growth. The winners demonstrate exceptional business practices in areas including strategic planning, employee development, community involvement, and customer service.
“We are honored and humbled to receive this award again this year,” Tammy Ehrbaker, owner of NVS Salon explained. “We have a passion for our clients and an amazing staff who take their time with every client to ensure the highest quality of customer service.”
In addition to being awarded one of the Top 100 Small Businesses in America, they were also honored again this year as a Top 200 Salon by Salon Today Magazine along with being the official salon of the Major League Lacrosse Chesapeake Bayhawk cheerleaders and styling known celebrities.
"NVS Salon has the most warm and welcoming environment I have ever stepped into,” Tracy Hart, radio and tv personality, explained. “I continue to be impressed with the quality and variety of services I receive at NVS."
