Nutty Irishman's hat pattern is quick knit gift

See also

The crunch for holiday gift knitting is on. Just thought of three more last minute gifts "must-knit hats" last night. The Nutty Irishman's Graham hat pattern fits all the prerequisites for Christmas' knitting: easy free pattern, stylish slouch hat pattern, suits men, women, and teens, and above all, a quick knit. Apparently almost 2,000 knitters on Ravelry think so, too.

Knit in the round on US 6 and 8 needles, the hat is completely reversible, and the free pattern is written for medium and large sizes. Many knitters have used worsted yarn, others have chosen DK. The gauge is 6 sts to the inch, so adjust your needle size and/or pattern size to fit your yarn. Jennifer Adams, the hat pattern's designer, says:

"This is a simple slouch hat made for my son, and using a Broken Rib stitch. The hat is completely reversible and the crown decreases are worked seamlessly within the pattern.

It’s a fun quick knit that’s perfect for last minute gifts. Enjoy!"

You'll find this free hat pattern on Ravelry and see more of Jennifer's free patterns here at Nutty Irishman Knits.
