Nurturing the new life

Wednesday, January 15, 2014: Whether it's a new life or a new attitude about life... or both... your perspective has changed. In either case something new has been born. But keep in mind that whatever dream or goal that hatched during the first 2 weeks of 2014 is still in its infancy. It's alive but it's new. And, like a baby, it's temperamental, changeable and needs to be protected, nurtured, and fed regularly.

Your dreams and goals are like living things, breathed into being by your own thoughts. It's vital that you nurture them and encourage them if they are to grow and thrive. You must hold them close, guard them from negativity, fed them positive thoughts, give them happy encouragement.

If you've managed to find a clear direction, congratulations! But... if you're still indecisive don't beat yourself up... pat yourself on the back because you are now looking at the world with new eyes and thinking about what you really want and how to make it happen. Though detours are still possible, some exciting times await you.

Today's Quote

Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success. Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success. Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream. ~ Laozi
