Friday, July 18, 2014: Step softly today. Almost everyone is feeling stressed and acting from a deeply emotional and/or needy place. Guard against impatience, keep your passions in check and speak in a calming voice.

The sky also shifted a bit more today and over the next few weeks you're likely be more sensitive and impressionable, as well as more affectionate and nurturing.

It's time to appreciate and nurture your personal values... what you love and hold dear... those things, people and ways of being that give you pleasure and make you happy.

Most people are confused as to what their own personal values really are. Your personal values... what you value the most in yourself, in others and in life... are innate and defined on the day you were born. Then as time passed those innate values matured and expanded... or perhaps even faded into the background... as they were either positively reinforced, misshaped or challenged by countless things: Your family (or even lack of family), your friends, television, politicians, church leaders, cultural influences, books you've read, incidents (both positive and negative) you've seen or been involved in, conversations you had... and much more. So much so that as an adults it's often difficult to know exactly what your innate personal values are... or how they have been affected... for good or bad... by the life you've lived.

But never the less, values are your motivators and give you purpose for getting up in the morning... they are guiding principles that dictate how you behave, what you get involved in, what and who you're attracted to, who's attracted to you and what makes you feel good about yourself. They help you to know what's right for you and what's wrong for you. They help determine if you are on the right path for achieving your goals. And, once recognized and understood, they can be an unwavering guide in life.

So ask yourself: "What are my values?" "What and who are really important to me?" "Who do I love and why?" "When do I love myself the most?" And... "How can I nurture these and live every day aligned with what truly matters the most to me?"

When asked the above questions, most responses will be pretty vague, you have you think them through or just say things that you "think" are your values or that you "want" your values to be. But... are these really "your" values? (If you have a problem answering any of these questions... ask an astrologer for guidance.)
