A British assisted living home Chaseley Trust with a beautiful view the sea, offers a high level of “family feel” assistance for those with severe disabilities in a quiet residential town. The nursing home is acquiring international attention for what it is calling “meeting the needs” of its patients by hiring strippers and escorts to provide care for its patients.
The residents put a “Special red sock” on the doorknob so as not to be disturbed every fifteen minutes
Hellena Barrow told The Sun. “We care about our patients, what would we be if we didn’t provide the necessary holistic care. We set up a special room to provide and outlet for the patients.” The patients have no other outlet and sometimes grope the workers. “By law the sex workers are allowed to physically enable people but the care workers are not. Most of the time these people feel frustrated by a primeval need they can’t fulfill. ”
Essex County Council has ushered in an investigation citing abuse and exploitation of the patients
The nursing home has been operating without the cooperation of local authorities and the council does not welcome the idea of inviting prostitutes into the assisted living home and putting patients at risk.
