The kids clubs aboard the Disney Cruise Line are the best on the seas. From the moment they enter the kids are transported into a world that's just for them and they will never willing leave
The Oceaneers Club and Lab require kids to be over the age of 3 and fully potty trained (no exceptions!) so where does that leave the littlest cruisers (12 weeks to 3 years) when Mom and Dad want to have a few hours of peace and quiet or dine in one of the adults only restaurants?
Flounder's Reef and It's A Small World Nursery offer babysitting services for infants and toddlers for a nominal fee. Unlike the other kids clubs, reservations are recommended and can be made in advance based on your Castaway Club status:
- 120 days for Concierge and Platinum Castaway Club Guests
- 105 days for Gold Castaway Club Guests
- 90 days for Silver Castaway Club Guests
- 75 days for First-Time Cruisers
The nurseries are staffed based on demand, and do not keep full hours like the other services onboard. You'll want to make reservations as soon as possible. Reservations can be cancelled up to 12 hours in advance without penalty.
Nursery care is $6.00 per hour for the first child and $5.00 per hour for the second (pricing subject to change without notice). Each nursery facility is uniquely themed either as Flounders Reef or It's A Small World and both have areas for activity and resting.
If you have little one's and will need nursery services on your next cruise, don't forget to reserve your space and time when you make your Port Adventures and adult dining reservations.
