The New York City Department of Finance is seeking to hire six clerical associates to work as Cashiers/Clerical Associates. This position will be posted until July 23, 2014.This is an entry level position and the starting salary is $30,683.00 to $49,707.00. The job ID number is 153712. The main office is located at 66 John Street, New York, NY., but there are various work locations throughout the five boroughs.

To be able to apply for this position, you must be a permanent Clerical Associate or be on the open-competitive civil service Clerical Associate list. The minimum educational requirements for this position are; a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution and one year satisfactory work experience in the clerical field. You must able be able to type 100 key strokes (20 words per minute) to be considered.
