The near death of a family man who uses a prescribed asthma inhaler causes Don Eppes (Rob Morrow) & his team to investigate. They uncover the deaths of several other people who are patients of the same pharmaceutical company. That company successfully keeps those deaths out of the press media. The investigation leads to a man who used to work for the company, but was fired because he wanted to blow-the-whistle on numerous failed drug testing. The company hires a hit-man posing as an employee. That leads to a mountain man who is being tracked by agent Ian Edgerton (Lou Diamond Phillips). Can the FBI team save the mountain man from a contract hit? Will the pharmaceutical company be exposed & pay for their crimes?
