Treyarch informed their fans on Wednesday, that the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” update which went live on Xbox 360 earlier today had one interesting addition that wasn’t included in the list of the update’s patch notes. Also effective after applying the update, Xbox 360 players will find that the Nuketown 2025 multiplayer map is now included in the map rotation for a majority of the game’s playlists.
The Nuketown 2025 multiplayer map allows fans to play in a science fiction rich environment modeled highly off the Art Deco styles of the 1950s. Think “Fallout” meets “Call of Duty” to get an idea of the setting for the Nuketown 2025 map. Nuketown 2025 was originally a preorder exclusive that was only playable in “Call of Duty: Black Ops2” during limited engagements. Treyarch has slowly opened up the special map for use over time and now it is playable from most of the game’s playlists.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is out now on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, and PC.
