Do you spend Sunday morning wondering what to wear to church? Well, if you went to church at the White Tail Chapel, that would be a thing of the past. According to The Christian Post on Feb. 10, the folks there worship in their birthday suits, not their Sunday best.

The congregants worship nude at the White Tail Chapel, situated on the grounds of the White Tail Nudist Resort near Ivor, Va. or in various states of undress. Before you start snickering, there is nothing titillating about it. Members say it gives them a feeling of inner peace.

Pastor Alan Parker is fully nude and claims that, “People are more open as far as hearing the word of God and speaking the word of God.” Pastor Parker says he would put his church up against any other for sincerity and seriousness about the word of God.

There’s not a feeling that you have to be better than one another. We’re humans. We have scars. We have what we have. And it is learning to love and accept that.”

Two of the members, Rob and Katie Church, were married at the White Tail Chapel, with Rob saying his vows in the nude. Katie says she feels closer to those in this church than she ever has and she knows that every single member would be there for her should she need them.

What about you? Could you concentrate on God’s word if you were sitting in church exactly as God made you with nothing added? Do you think this is right, wrong, or somewhere in between? Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
