Nuclear Cowboyz and Mick Foley come to Kansas City

When the weekend is approaching and you're looking for something to do, where can you find what is going on in Kansas City? Every Thursday you'll find the weekend listing right here, and today is no different. Here is what's going on this weekend.

Swing by Standford's Comedy Club at the Legends to see a man that made his name in the wrestling ring move to the stage. Mick Foley appears Friday night at 7:45 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. with additional shows Saturday. You can find information here and tickets here.

Looking for something more high octane and loaded with adrenaline? Sprint Center hosts the Nuclear Cowboyz Saturday at 7:30 p.m.and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are still available for what their website describes as "jaw-dropping freestyle motocross tricks meshed with stimulating pyrotechnic and laser displays all synchronized to heavy metal, rock alternative and electronic dubstep music."

For the gamers, the Ahn!Con will be at the Ramada Conference Center.

Nelson-Atkins presents Heartland: The Photographs of Terry Evans. Tickets cost $5-$8 for non-members.

For some free adventures, bring your dog to the KC Pittie Pack walk, 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Penn Valley Park. You can also go to open hangar day at New Century Air Center, which is brought to you for Second Saturday. Main Street Tobacco offers free Hookah Demonstrations this Saturday from 2-4 p.m. Lastly for free events, Second Sunday Fly will be held at Shelter 1 in Olathe's Heritage Park at 1 p.m. Come out to enjoy the day flying a kite.
