Old School Sundays at Major League Bar and Grill is really “New.” This Old School party used to be held at Hairston’s Dinner Club in Stone Mountain, but the club closed down for unspecified reasons. Although Hairston’s came to a surprising close, the party continued to thrive on the other side of town. This weekly event is a live broadcast kept alive by Derek Harper of 107.5 fm and DJ Nabs, who spins all the Old School Hip - Hop and R&B.
Major League Bar and Grill is not your typical sports bar. For starters, their bar is marble and not wood. They also have lavish VIP areas, 40 flat screen televisions, 3 projection screens, and not to mention an oversized dance floor. On Sunday nights while DJ Nabs spin the hits, the videos to the songs appear on a projection screen in front of the dance floor.
Ladies are free all night and they also serve tasty $5.00 Majic Margaritas. Although it’s 21 to get in, the crowd is very mature.
