Boybands are reuniting everywhere! Well, at least it seems like they are, and there's another '90s boyband reunion coming up this weekend. On Tuesday, Aug. 20, the New York Post reported that NSYNC will be reuniting at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
Justin Timberlake was already set to perform and be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs Sunday at the Barclays Center, but now, there's something that else to look forward to, even if you weren't an NSYNC fan. After all, who doesn't love a boyband reunion? According to the report, J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick will be joining Timberlake onstage for a reunion performance during the VMAs.
NSYNC has had some memorable VMA performances over the years, including "Tearin' Up My Heart" with Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time" in 1999, "This I Promise You," "Bye Bye Bye," and "It's Gonna Be Me" in 2000, and their last VMA performance of "Pop" in 2001 with Michael Jackson. So where will the NSYNC 2013 reunion performance rank with those? Which songs will they sing? What are you hoping to see Sunday from NSYNC?
How do you feel about this NSYNC reunion? Will you be tuning in to the VMAs at 9 p.m. Sunday on MTV?
