'NSYNC reunion rumors are making some headway online today. Oh the days of the late 90s boy band – the sleeveless denim jackets, the suit coats with ripped jeans, the overalls (with one strap unbuckled) and bandanas hiding spiked-up hair.
According to the Huffington Post on Aug. 20, the iconic band, after saying “Bye, Bye, Bye” a decade ago, may be reuniting, at least for one last wax nostalgic show at the MTV Video Music Awards.
'NSYNC – Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and of course, Justin Timberlake – are reportedly going to make an appearance this Sunday on the popular award show.
Aren’t we all just a’twitter with unbridled excitement?
MTV has yet to confirm the rumor, although it has been leaked that Timberlake would be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
On “hiatus” since 2002, the last time 'NSYNC performed together was at the 2003 Grammy Awards doing a Bee Gees medley.
Will the superstar boy band grace the stage again with their choreographed moves and harmonies? I await with baited breath my dear readers.
