‘NSYNC reunion has avid followers of the 90s hit boy band ecstatic to hear that ‘NSYNC may be joining together once again to perform on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in N.Y. to surprise many fans this 2013, CBS reports this Tuesday, Aug. 20. According to one source, the reunion is being worked on by producers, who are “trying to make it happen” and that it’s “coming together.”
The ‘NSYNC reunion has been long overdue, as it’s been over 10 years since Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, J.C. Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick have all been on the big stage together. Yet this special performance at the VMAs is one that thousands across the US have been waiting for, and their wish to see ‘NSYNC in sync once again may very well be coming true.
Although the entire group coming back remains unconfirmed, what is known is that Justin Timberlake will be making more than one appearance at MTV’s hottest night for music videos, performing one of his latest hits and to be present for one of his several music nominations, along with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
The group parted ways back in 2002, and last performed together a year later in 2003 at the Grammy's.
Insiders have said that the ‘NSYNC reunion is mostly under wraps for now, but that producers of the show are trying desperately to wrangle the former boy band stars back together for the performance. And from what’s been heard so far, they’re doing well. In addition to Justin Timberlake, at least two of the singers were “interested” in the prospect of ‘NSYNC coming back, with plans “trying to happen” and “it coming together.”
Would you love to see an ‘NSYNC reunion at this year’s VMAs? Or do you think the boy banders have officially said Bye Bye Bye?
