NSU personnel win right to join union

Following seven years of struggle, a group of maintenance workers at Nova Southeastern University have won the right to join a labor union. The workers ratified an agreement that will provide them with new benefits including a pay increase. All 325 union workers will earn $10 an hour by 2015, according to an article by Miriam Valverde in the February 27 Sun Sentinel.
