On Feb 15-16, the National Speed Sport News and The Children's Miracle Network are pleased to offer their full support for the popular Motorama event at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa. This year marks the 36th year that Motorama has participated in raising money for local charities in Pennsylvania.
"We are thrilled and humbled to have been asked to support this tremendous organization," said National Speed Sport News President Curt Moon. "We're very much looking forward to helping make Motorama bigger and better than ever and seeing our efforts help raise even more money for such a worthy cause."
Proceeds from a special auction and t-shirt sales from this year's event will benefit both the Children's Miracle Network and the Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. National Speed Sport News will provide advertising and promotional support plus multimedia coverage of the event, while donating $5 from every subscription sold during the event to The Children's Miracle Network.
"I can't thank everyone at Motorama enough for this opportunity. This has been in the works for several months and I think the things that we are putting together are really going to be great for everyone involved," said Kolten Gouse, event organizer. "This is truly an awesome partnership with everyone at Motorama, Speed Sport and the people at Children's Miracle Network and Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. To be a part of something like this is a true honor and I am really excited about putting the pieces together to make this a great event."
The Motorama show annually boasts attendance of more than 50,000 motorsports enthusiast and features events ranging from Arenacross to RC racing. More than 2,000 racers participate and setup displays, with more than 700 race cars and show vehicles for fans to see up close. More than 100 sponsors and vendors support the event.
"The Motorsports community has always been made up of individuals who when congregated can and do make a powerful team. It is an honor to have partnered with Curt Moon, Kolten Gouse and and the Speed Sport News family," said Motorama Events Executive Producer Andy Goodman. "Together we can and will make a difference - a bigger difference than ever before. We will utilize Motorama positioning within the motorsport community to help raise a significant contribution for the Children's Miracle Network."
