The National Premier Soccer League announced another addition to its South Central division Saturday August 31, with Flower Mound FC the name on everyones lips.
The club, based in Dallas Fort Worth, was formed in 2013 as a community based club to provide talented soccer players an opportunity to play at a higher level with the possibility of transferring to a professional club nationally or internationally via their professional network.
"The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is a soccer hotbed that is developing incredible players and we are excited to welcome Flower Mound FC to the NPSL."
"Flower Mound FC joins Liverpool Warriors as our second DFW area club in the South Central Conference of the NPSL, bringing tremendous international soccer management experience to their community-based club and will be a great addition to the NPSL family."
FMFC are led by Owner Jacob Tuygun and Rahim Zafer, General Manager Filiberto Gil, Marketing Director Nicolas Ayala, and Secretary Susana Velasqouez.
Tuygun told the NPSL:
"We would like to generate awareness and make some noise about Flower Mound FC to engage our DFW community and share our FMFC vision with them. We want to provide the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex soccer players an opportunity to compete at the next level with FMFC under KLA Sports and Media Group."
Flower Mound FC will scout local high schools, leagues, and associations for players in and around the DFW area and in return opportunities will to available to compete in national and international tournaments & camps.

Flower Mound FC will compete alongside current DFW resident Liverpool Warriors, 2013 South Central runaway champions Tulsa Athletics as well as Houston based sides Hurricanes & Regals when they all kick off again next May, 2014.
