NPR Austin 100 gets you ready for SXSW

It is only four days until Austin South by Southwest. In preparation, NPR has once again provided a comprehensive look at the 100 best discoveries for festival. Each year NPR Music dives into the 2,000+ acts and puts together a mix they call The Austin 100.

The file is provided for a mere 30 days. You have the option to either download each track individually, or in a single 839MB file. Acts included in the mix are Against Me!, Cloud Nothings, the Dum Dum Girls, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Moon Hooch, Public Service Broadcasting, Until the Ribbon Breaks, and the local Birmingham soul band, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, among others.

SXSW is set for March 7th through the 16th, so download the mix soon. NPR assures that there should be plenty of discoveries that you like and many that you probably have not even heard before now.
