The NPD results for the month of February (from Janurary 31st to February 27th) have been released. You can view the figures below:
Hardware:
Nintendo DS - 613.2K
Xbox 360 - 422.0K
Nintendo Wii - 397.9K
PlayStation 3 - 360.1K
PSP - 133.4K
PlayStation 2 - 101.9K
On the hardware front, the Xbox 360 managed to beat out the Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii in the console race although the Nintendo DS is still the best-selling system overall.

3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360) - 314.3K
4. Just Dance (Nintendo Wii) - 275.4K
5. Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo Wii) - 272.5K
6. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Playstation 3) - 252.8K
7. Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360) - 246.5K
8. Dante’s Inferno Divine Edition (Playstation 3) - 242.5K
9. Dante’s Inferno (Xbox 360) - 224.7K
10. Heavy Rain (Playstation 3) - 219.3K
BioShock 2 on the Xbox 360 was the top seller for the month of February in North America while the Playstation 3 version did not chart. Overall, the highly anticipated sequel sold more than 750K copies across the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
On the other hand, the Playstation 3 version of Dante’s Inferno outsold the Xbox 360 one. The only other new release that managed to chart in the top 10 is the Playstation 3 exclusive, Heavy Rain.

WOW! that should be the headline right there,that's huge, the DS is not a system, stop trying to downplay the accomplishment the 360 has made, it makes you read like a biased fanboy hack.
This is a very interesting set of numbers. It's a great set of results for the 360's hardware, but strangely one of the strongest PS3 software results (keeping in mind there are twice as many 360s as PS3s in the US, the MW2 and Dante's Inferno numbers are almost unbelievable). The Wii's the only system that clearly had a bad month, but it's all relative - 300,000 units of any console sold in February is alright!
Bungie, go play in traffic. AND THE NINTENDO DS STILL BEAT THE 360. You cocksucking fangirl.
And who the hell is jealous of the 360? It FINALLY tops the Wii for a month and you fangirls are cumming all over yourselves.

Worldwide sales PS3 outsold the 360 yet again and is a head of the 360 in total sales by a little over 500,000 units.
