AMC is rebroadcasting all 20 episodes of the excellent drama starting next month, but has scheduled the episodes to air in the wee hours of the morning.
It's kind of a tall order, but if want to catch up -- either via this marathon, or by shelling out the cash to watch on DVD or iTunes -- then by all means, go for it.
Breaking Bad's first, seven-episode season wasn't bad, and the second year, which aired in 2009, was outstanding.
If you've never seen it: Breaking Bad tells the story of high school science teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston, who has won two Emmy awards for the role) who learns he has lung cancer. In order to provide for his family, he teams up with a former student and starts cooking and selling crystal meth.
It's a harrowing, often very bleak show, but one that's also suspenseful, funny, and well-written/well-acted, and really unlike anything else on TV now. The third season is scheduled to begin Sunday, March 21 at 10 p.m. If you're already caught up, the video below will give you a glimpse of what's to come.
