There is clearly something in the air and everyone knows it. It matters not what your philosophical prospective is nor what your designated belief system is.
God has orchestrated and history has produced some of the world’s most legendary giants as examples of common man reaching spectacular heights that God has set aside for a special purpose. A few of these spiritual icons we have lost recently in televangelist Paul Crouch and visionary Nelson Mandela.
There are a few greats left as America’s Billy Graham who exemplifies God’s expectation of maintaining a moral character and not deviating from a calling that should not be compromised when anointed by God.
However when one inspects who is waiting in the wings in the areas of political, scientific, religious, or social calling, one would see a huge void and a bankrupt spiritual condition. Where are all the male or female greats that have always been with us? Do people make history or does history make the people?
The spark of God’s divine inspiration resonates in a Catholic Pope that is one of the most popular religious figures to come along according to the Pew Study, but anointing or validating greatness hardly comes from a public poll.http://nation.time.com/2013/12/24/pope-proves-very-popular-with-american-catholics/
There aren’t even any charismatic bad guys to dislike for crying out loud.
We still have some pretty dynamic spiritual leaders in the Christian field of play with Graham, Benny Hinn, and Reinhard Bonnke. There are others not mentioned that are doing powerful work and prefer to be working under the radar without any notoriety.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinhard_Bonnke
There is a dynamic shift taking place where God is raising an army of unknowns who will work behind the scenes to generate some of the biggest miracles going forward in the 21st century. This period of time will be a prelude to the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation as the Bible has already declared that “the time of Jacob’s trouble” has arrived.http://www.gotquestions.org/Jacobs-trouble.html
Many students and experts of prophesy have studied the Bible inside and out attempting to extrapolate what the Bible declares in how human history will play out for the “end times”. There are publications by the hundreds that have been printed over the years concerning eschatology and what will transpire.
There are basic camps that have four main groups, the pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, post-tribulation, or pre-wrath concepts that will mold your opinion concerning the end times based on what camp you decide to dwell. Your interpretation of Bible scripture will be based on the preset belief system you decide to live in.
As many are finding out, this knowledge is spiritually discerned. Everyone is a little correct and a little incorrect. What really matters is the process will indeed take place as specified by the writers of the Torah and Bible that were under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Although nobody knows the hour or the day, the Bible also says that one should not be caught unaware of the beginning process which includes the Rapture of the Church, the event that will usher in the closing chapters to human history according to the Bible. Jesus articulated this fact in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 where Christ specifically outlines the prevailing condition on Earth that will be in place before His return.
There is a scripture which declares "when sin abounds, grace shall that much more abound". The implication is that there would be much wickedness present “as in the days of Noah”, but there would also be provision already in place to deal with the rise of evil.http://www.khouse.org/articles/1996/43/
Destroying the works of the enemy through the Name of Jesus is a spiritual battle since in Hebrews it stipulates that Christ is seated at the throne until all His enemies are made His footstool. God expects His saints to do the work of overcoming through the power and authority of Christ.
Putting too much trust in the religious greats that exist currently is the reason God will begin using all of His believers to do the marvelous works in the form of great miracles. Each individual believer can be used to heal the lame, restore sight to the blind, give hearing to the deaf, and even raising the dead. Having faith in the One who gives the gift and answers the prayer will be the key.
It is nice to rely on the icons, preachers, ministers, pastors, or elders of the church to call on God to generate great works of faith, but that anointing has already been powerfully distributed to the common followers and even new believers that know how to put their trust in God. God is no respecter of persons.
History reveals there has always been trouble before a greater outpouring.
