Who's ready to think about fall? Yes, the kids have gone back to school but the weather is still reaching the high 80s so thinking about fall is the last thing on anyone's mind, unless of course you're the makers of Smashbox cosmetics.
Bringing in the colors of fall is Smashbox's all new collection Fade to Black Fall 2013 Collection. Drawing its inspiration from film and Hollywood, the new collection covers the whole spectrum from ever flattering neutrals to the all time favorites intense blacks. And although the collection only fractures six new items the richness they bring is a must have for this fall with its luxe mixture of metallics and mattes that anyone can wear.
For lipstick, Smashbox brings its legendary best selling Be Legendary lipstick in two limited edition colors; Cognac (a warm raisin almost coppery brown with pink undertones) and Black Cherry (a deep cranberry almost plum shade).
The Fade to Black Photo Op Eye Shadow palettes feature seven different shades crossing the spectrum from neutral to deep rich black. The Fade In palette features cooler shades in matte warm ivory, matte flesh, shimmery taupe, matte chocolate brown, khaki with golden shimmer, matte dark chocolate, black with gold pearl and the Fade Out palette features shades that are warmer like soft pastel pink, soft shimmery silver, soft matte grey, violet with multicolor sheen, earthy brown with subtle sheen, deep matte purple, black with cranberry pearl.
To round out the Fade to Black collection, Smashbox offers two Fade to Black Waterproof Shadow Liner. Whether you choose the classic standby of Blackest Black or go edgy with Black Gold, these shadow eyeliner will provide you the deep rich colors your eyes love in the cooler months.
Currently available at Sephora, the collection has a price point of $20 for the lipsticks, $22 for the shadow liner and $42 for the eyeshadow palettes.
